Pan-European refinancing of a car parks' portfolio

SHIFT CAPITAL assisted Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund I ("BEREPF I"), a pan-European fund managed by Bouwfonds IM (more than €7bn of assets under management), in the refinancing of twelve car parks in France, England, Germany and Spain, representing more than 6,000 parking spaces.

The portfolio was refinanced through three mortgage lines in England, France, Germany, for a total amount of €50m, following a European marketing process.

SHIFT CAPITAL helped BEREPF I in the presentations and ongoing contacts with prospective lenders during the marketing phase, then assisted in the negotiations and coordination of third parties throughout the whole closing process. In particular, SHIFT CAPITAL:

• Advised the fund in available options to optimise the structure, the refinancing amount and financial conditions;
• Helped the fund to sign, within the time frame allowed, a refinancing involving four countries and fifty stakeholders.
